The Missa Brevis for SATB Chorus, Soloists and String orchestra lives up to its name in the economy of its “Brevity”. All seven parts of the Tridentine mass can be neatly tucked into a service without turning a liturgy into a concert, or this work can be performed independently as a monument of sacred art.
